Equitas Health’s Institute for LGBTQ Health Equity has partnered with WPATH , the World Professional Association for Transgender Health, the international leader in interdisciplinary professional and educational trainings on transgender health, to host a trans health cultural competency training for health care providers Friday, Saturday, and Sunday October 20-22nd, 2017 at The Ohio State University’s Fawcett Center.
Providers can attend day one of the Transforming Care Conference then attend a 3-day intensive training on transgender healthcare provided by WPATH. Providers must register for both the Transforming Care Conference and WPATH training if they are interested in participating in both learning opportunities.

This 2-day multidisciplinary conference provides foundational evidence based sessions, case discussions and group work. The program based on the WPATH Standards of Care will cover a wide variety of topics. Discussions are designed to enhance your skill sets necessary to effectively work with clients and patients in your practice or gender center.

Pre-Requisite: Registrant must have previously completed our Foundations Course or have been a WPATH member for more than 5 years.
