Lisa Wurm is a policy manager for the ACLU of Ohio in Columbus. She focuses on a wide range legislative and policy based campaigns, including, but not limited to LGBTQ and reproductive rights. She has been with the ACLU of Ohio for three years and concentrates her efforts on advocacy at the state and local government level. Born and raised in a rural section part of Delaware, Ohio, Lisa is a lifelong Ohioan. As a former aide in both the Ohio House and Senate, Lisa has in in-depth knowledge of the how the Ohio statehouse functions. Lisa graduated in 2005 from The Ohio State University with dual bachelor’s degrees in Political Science and Communication. She has over 10 years of government and lobbying experience.

Receive an update on where Ohio is at on its non–discrimination policies and how this impacts the LGBTQ community. The session will also include an overview on what legislation is currently pending and how the LGBTQ community can directly join the fight in our state.
