Kat Holtz has a BS in Elementary and Special Education. She is an HIV Specialist at the Portage County Health District. She presents trainings on various sexuality topics to adults, adolescents, people in recovery, community groups, and congregations. She believes that humor is important (if you can’t laugh at sex, then what’s the point?) and that chocolate is critical.
Activity: Chocolate Meditation
Time: 12PM – 1PM
Chocolate Meditation is a meditative process that will also teach the proper chocolate tasting techniques. We will meditate with a variety of good chocolate types. We will compare them to common chocolate. We will luxuriate in the calming and sensual properties that only chocolate can provide. We will learn what we like and share what we discover. We will have fun consuming and discussing the best things you will put in your mouth this weekend!
1. Participants will be able to identify the purpose of meditation.
2. Participants will gain an appreciation of chocolate and a proper chocolate tasting method.
3. Participants will learn the chocolate meditation and be able to carry it out independently.
