Participants will learn about the demographic composition and health outcomes of the LGBT-identified population, focusing on gender, age, and race/ethnicity.  The presentation will provide participants with information about:

1. How different forms of measuring sexual orientation and gender identity affect demographic patterns among sexual and gender minorities
2. How the demographic composition of the LGBT-identified population is changing given different rates of coming out depending on gender, age, and racial/ethnic status
3. Differences in health outcomes among LGBT-identified adults by gender, age, and race/ethnicity
4. The impact of changing demographic patterns within the LGBT-identified population on LGBT policy and health research.
